My Kitfox-II went through 2 pairs of LEAF skinned

 tundra tires (size 20 x 700 - 8, two-ply) at $115  each.

 I've been flying it since 1997.  Nearly all  my landings 

 are on cement.   

     

 Last year our airport, KRST, extended the primary runway  

 and cut rain grooves  in the new addition.  In no time I was

 seeing cords (my technique could also be a factor!)   

         

 At any rate I bought pair of the same sized tires at our  local

 "Fleet Farm Store" in Rochester, MN for about $60  total.

 They are 4-ply with half-inch knobs.  Works fine for  me...
