| The two main things I would recommend looking for inside the wing
would be
| signs of corrosion and "smoking" or otherwise failing rivets.

Rick:
Primarily, I would look for broken 5/16" tube braces on the leading
edge of the wing. These lateral braces keep the main rib noses in
column. If they shift, they will fail. The inboard rib nose braces
are fabric braces, not leading edge braces. The bowtip is not a
leading edge brace.
