I would like to see everyones favorite flying pictures from 2005.  Taken from kolbs or of kolbs.  We have some great photographers on the list.  How about posting a few of your best from last year?  If this works, here are a few of mine......

C'mon Larry... you can put a non-standard engine on a Kolb, you can figure this out!

Yah, but that non-standard engine hasn't flown yet, and so far neither has 

this.



Interesting..........at least 2 people have received my post about 

difficulties with the new format, but it didn't come thru to me. 

Hmmmm............discrimination ! ! !  I'll try it again in a minute, then 

phooey with it - bedtime.  Manana is another day.                     Lar.

Thanks Pat.  My camera is a Panasonic FZ-5.  I am very pleased with it so far.  It is a 5 megapixel with 12x optical zoom and an image stabilizer.  I can zoom in on stuff waaay down there and the pictures come out crisp even if the plane and camera are bouncing all over the place.  Puchased it in September, so still learning the finer points, but with digital I can take lots and lots of shots and throw the bad ones out.  By the law of averages I'm bound to get a great shot now and then.

     I couldn't help but wonder how old you were when your profile picture was taken? Or even if the picture is of you or someone else that you found at a remote airport.     I was also curious as the what state that picture was taken in?   My picture isn't from a Kolb but I think you will like it anyway.

My plane is back in Michigan again this winter so these flying photos help a 

bunch. Now John you said you took them but your in the photo. That has to be 

one real wide angle lens.

Great picture John.  I didn't intend to be too restrictive.  Here are couple of mine from Sunday afternoon.  I loved the SNJ-1 picture also.
