Hey Gang,
It is my understanding this is a picture of either Cappy or Smokey (I can't remember which right now as my paint killer is still has me flying high without the RV) when they took a side trip to the beach from the Little River Fly-In last year.

Looks like the weather is going to be great for the fly-in at Little River Airpark, FL on Saturday. I plan on leaving Gold Hill about 9:00 AM and will have an empty back seat if anyone is interested in coming along. I can stop somewhere along the route to pick up a gib if that works. Will plan on being back at Gold Hill by 5 PM.

I will fly back with you. Lynnie and I are planning on going to LAL on Friday to see the Cougar airplane my uncle designed and built in 1953.
We hope to be at Little River when you arrive. Glad you can make it.
To the rest of SERV. This is one great event only 2 hours from CLT and I know you will enjoy it.

Runways: RIGHT HAND TRAFFIC FOR RUNWAY 36
LEFT HAND TRAFFIC FOR RUNWAY 18
Use taxiway located on west side of runway 18/36. DO NOT TAXI on
runway.
Park where directed by ground personnel.
Burgers and hot dogs with all the fixings will be served. $5.00 donation
please. Lunch at 12:00 (noon). Coffee and donuts for early birds.
ALL ACTIVITIES WILL BE HELD AT NORTH END OF RUNWAY 36.
