Has anyone ever installed the foam gap seals on a Kitfox Classic IV that come with the kit? If so do you have instructions for installation, also will MEK destroy them in the covering process?

I didn't use that material for the gap seal, because I made an
airfoiled vertical stab. and rudder, so the gap seal wasn't necessary.
But I did use the material for the top of the rudder and vertical
stab., however. I epoxied it in place, laminating it to the width that
I needed, then used Hysol to smooth out the surface, and covered with
Polyfiber cloth and the usual products. So in that application, the
MEK did not get a chance to attack the gap seal material. To be safe,
do a test of MEK on a hidden area to be sure.

Will try to e-mail the instructions to you for
doing the vert. stab foam trailing
edge. MEK will not harm it as it is
eurethane.
