I just rebuilt both gear valve/handles last weekend. I installed them last Wednesday
and no leaks. Don't be afraid to take them apart. More then likely you have
some rust built up. I used a very fine, flat stone to take down the matting
surfaces. (I can sharpen razor blades with this stone, its that fine.) Either
that or take it to a near by machine shop. These units are designed to be rebuilt.

back together any of 4 ways and only one works. We can talk mo |
Thanks, Jim. I'm afraid that if I take the thing apart it'll never go back together again. I tried it with the starting air valve and, well....have you rebuilt one of those? I have an inoperative one sitting on my shelf. You get the picture.
