I just noticed in my hast to post that my tongue got in front of my eye teeth and I typed the wrong answer!
It should have read there is a risk of prop overspeeed if you decrease the manifold pressure to idle and then change the pitch on the prop to fine. I think you can get away with that if you first advance the prop then pull the manifold to idle.
