Anyone planning to attend ???  A good suggestion was to go down to  Lakeland on Friday ... then on Saturday head over to Cedar Key for the night ...  return home on Sunday.

  

 Those of you not familiar with Cedar Key ... it is a fishing community  directly west of Gainesville on the gulf.  Small airport right on the water  .. lots of bed & breakfast opportunities ... some great seafood restaurants  ...

I am planning to attend.  No plans yet for Saturday, but Cedar Key is a good option.  I was just there last week; landed in a 25kt (at least) crosswind.

Suggest going down to LAL Sat. am as last yr. Fri. was

a dud and few arrived Sat. til 11 am or so.  Then to

Cedar Key around 3-3:30 to spend nite.  RR

FWIW, I'd still prefer Friday.  A dud at an airport in FL is better than a

great day at the office!  And down one day and back up the next might be too

much of a good thing for my passenger....not enough R & R in between.

I think that you get more out of it if you "mosey" down on Friday as well. 



Is anyone planning on camping? (From the sound of the passenger lists, I get the feeling maybe not.)
