One year ago, I replaced the 582 on my model 3, with a Jabiru 2200, Mike. Since, I have been flying more than 100 hours and I love the engine.

Much less vibrations, less noise, less maintenance, less fuel and a good feeling of reliability. I am sure a 912 would also be a good engine but the Jabiru is about the same weight as the 582 so I didn't had to move anything to adjust my CG.

.. don't take me wrong, the 582 was also a good engine but ... it was getting old and in time for a change.
