Yes, Carl, that's pretty much what I interpreted from your EAA presentation, and it helped to give me confidence that there wouldn't be radical changes in control from removing the fixed slats completely. Your further quote, <Slat deployment in all flight conditions I have tested has no effect on the controls.......> just confirms what we have found in our experimenting with slats on and off.

I was really impressed with the experimental work you did in developing your new wing - good work that leads to benefits for those of us who seek to learn from the real life experience of others......
