Count me in on your movement.
I remember hearing about a study done awhile back concluding that it takes more BTUs of energy to make ethanol form corn than what you get out buring it for fuel. Some alcohol from corn is fine however, e.g. Wild Turkey. Let's make more of that.
Brazil has apparently achieved a degree of energy independence by going 100% ethanol, from sugarcane I think? Alcool para todo mundo!

This is all a political movement, it can't last. if they took all the corn
in the United States and turned it in to Ethanol, it would only amount to
15 % of the fuel supply. in the mean time there would be no feed for the
live stock, wild animals, birds and etc. and how about corn meal? No
Taco's either, this ain't good
This government for the people is way out of hand..... David

Ya gotta be a stinking politician or a corn-belt lobbyist to know what they are doing to our fuel. Maine has so far resisted jumping on the ethanol band wagon, but I think it's only a matter of time before some hack bureaucrats put the squeeze on us to comply with their voodoo science.

I know they are putting something tin the ethanol fuel so it can't be imbibed. what I'm wondering if any good ol' boys from high in the hills have tried running it through the still yet. Getting rid of the 15% gas is easy just add a bit of water to it... the gas will float to the top and drained off. then run the rest through the still.
makes a darn sight more sense than putting the stuff in the plane.... Who was it who said booze and flying don't mix??
Kreem, slosh or whatever all I see is make the plane heavier and then chemically drag the power out of the fuel. Fly while your planes engine is corroding from the inside out.
