I know Paul well - he's a member of our UFO
(Ultralight Flyers Organization) club which has
members throughout the Portland area. I'll contact
him - but my guess is that he sold the Kolb and wasn't
the pilot.

I just talked to Paul Runyan. He sold his Kolb -
dissassembled - 4 years ago to a fellow in Utah, who
re-built it. Paul doesn't have any knowledge about
the accident. Interesting side note - about a year
ago Paul got an inquiry about the Kolb from the FAA;
he wrote them and said it had been disassembled and
sold for parts. Apparently the FAA's data base
doesn't reflect this.

Yes, I live about 20-30 minute drive from Hurricane. I live in St. George.
Why? I haven't heard any details of what you're talking about. ???
