Can anyone provide what the permissible diameter dimensions are for the
crankshaft "nose" for an O-360-A1A? That is the part that the propeller
pilots on, forward of the prop flange.

Pilot 2.250- 2.247 is normal. Anything under that, is due to wear and up
to the discretion of the mechanic or repair station as to airworthiness.
Out of round max is .002.
