Hey all -

I perused the archives on this and didn't come up with anything... what
fonts are people using for panel lettering and the like? I'm making
stuff. Airplane stuff. That needs labels. Cool ones. Also, anyone
know what fonts the certified folks use in different aircraft? Mooney,
beech, Adam etc? just a shot in the dark.

Try Aircraft Engravers at http://www.engravers.net/main/
ac_products.htm. I am not sure what fonts they might have but I used
one of their standard fonts (Helvetica light) and came out really
nice. They are easy to work with and fast.

For ultra simplicity, I think I just used Arial 11pt on some
all CAPS stuff, and 12pt on most other stuf. Very basic.

But you, cj, I think you should try either Forte, Edwardian Script ITC,
or Wingdings. Wink
