Has somebody put a list together of survival kit items for a cross country? How about RV tool-kit & supplies?

In the sleeve/shoulder pocket of my mil-issue nomex flight suit, I
carry a little vacuum-packed home made bundle with the following:
space blanket, signal mirror, butane lighter, pen knife, wax paper
wrapper (tinder). The barest survival basics. Adding a flat rescue
whistle would have been a nice touch, and maybe a keychain LED
flashlight, but I used what I had on hand that would pack into a deck
of cards-sized package and went with that.
That's a mere suppliment to what I know I should carry but don't
always, including a good down sleeping bag in wintertime, even for
local flights. Always dress for a night alone in the woods at the
expected temperatures, when putt-putting around in the ol' RV.

Forgot to mention that I usually CCW a sidearm, which has other
survival uses besides defense.
