Hi Gang
This is the runway where I store my plane. It is a great runway except for when the deer jump out of the woods, they wait until I just about land then jump out onto the runway ... I think they do that just to see if my heart is still strong.

Just wondering, why not cut the trees clear to the water?...

Sure would like to cut the trees .. but that land is owned by a Utility Company ....

In da Minne-sota Land....Even if you own the land...You better make sure you could cut those trees down...
They have some kind of law that protects the river banks 50 to 100 ft from the rivers edge....
I know a guy out here that got "FINED" for pulling WEEDS out of HIS lake
What a crock....

Makes sense Bill, guess it's the seaplane pilot in me that sees a great opportunity for a seaplane base as well as clearer approach for the runway...
