Thanks for responding. Sorry it's taken so long for me to respond back. Here's what I found.
My tach was from a company other than Wesburg. With help from Lockwood, I learned terminals 2 and 3 are for the tach wires from the engine, In addition one of those wires also gets grounded (your choice, 2 or 3) and finally the other terminal, number 1 goes to 12 VDC power.
