Does anyone know if the cowl plugs that vans sells  will work for an -8 too?  It doesn't say anything on the site about the  -8...  Does anyone have these and have any  feedback?

Actually it does not.  Bill has a scoop I believe so his is:



RV-6/7/9 - fits all (I)O-320/360 cowls with scoop

Part Number = COWL PLUG SCOOP

Price = $59.95



No discussion of RV-8.

I've got a set in an RV-6A and they fit well...My  understanding is, that all of vans cowls are similar in size and layout .but  I'd check with Van's if you didn't have a scoop on your 8. It  is probably an omission in their discription, which Van's needs to be made  aware of.
