U.S.A. Europaphiles:

Has anyone else noticed that there is a new "sole agent for sales of the Europa in the U.S.A."?

Contact Mr. Bud Yerly of Custom Flight Creations

He and his company are now listed on the Europa "Contacts" page.

http://www.customflightcreations.com/

Located near Lakeland.

Just thought you'd like to know,

Good building and great flying,
Bob Borger

FlightCrafters is alive and well and has been operating at the Zephyrhills
airport (near Sun N'Fun) for about 2 years now. I am building my RV 7A
there. FlightCrafters remains a "builders assistance center", for Europas,
Jabirus, RVs, Zeniths and whatever else may come along. Bud Yerly of Custom
Flight Creations was a former employee at FlightCrafters and started his own
business about the time that FlightCrafters moved from Seffner to
Zephyrhills. Bud's business pretty much specializes in Europas and Bud is a
superb craftsman and a true Europa expert.

Peter,

FlightCrafters still exists in the same old location with the same folks, Bob Berube & Rus LePre.  Only now they appear to be dedicated to the Zenith line of kit aircraft as they are Zenith distributors.

Custom Flight Creations is a different company.

Good building and great flying,
Bob Borger

Regarding Flight Crafters, we are still a builder assistance center for Europa's as well as Van's RV's, Jabirus, Sonex, Zeniths or other designs.

We have formed another Company (Zenith Distributing)that sells the Zenith line of aircraft as well as manufacturing the quick build kit for the 701.

2 years ago we moved to Zephyrhills Municipal Airport to better accomodate our expansion needs.

Flight Creations is a different company located at our previous facility.

Regards,
Bob Berube

Flightcrafters is alive and well as Bob said. They are building all kinds of planes up at kzph, their new digs.
I spoke to Russ last week and he is certainly still ready and able to help Europa fans.

Bud has the old Flightcrafters barn in Seffner. I spent a very pleasant 9 hours with him last week.
As I mentioned previously, Bud is a former USAF fighter jock and career officer with a degree
in Aero Engineering. He was a great help as my main construction consultant during the FlightCrafter days.
The shop has about 6 europas in varying states of construction at the moment. Bud cranked out a couple of
motorglider wings recently, and has designed a neat new gantry system for fitting and storing wing sets.
They allow a single person to install MG wings and were about $2500 a set if I recall correctly.
He also has built a couple of nice enclosed trailers for Europas(heated and cooled!).

I don't think he was ready to sign the papers with E04 yet, but maybe the E04 website reflects changes
since last week.
