Just as a quick note, my experience with registering my DO-7 took
about three weeks. I had already reserved my N number and filled out
the paperwork matching, as I was told by a rep. in OK, two of the
three items, Manufacturer, serial number, model number as per the bill
of sale from Van's. I listed myself as manufacturer (as usual) and
used my Van's serial number with the model changed to DO-7.

Total time from mailing to receiving my
registration........................2 weeks, 6 days. Pretty nice!!!

TOOLS - ACCOUNT SETTINGS. Check the "Attach this signature" checkbox.
Then select the signature text file. Just use Notepad to create
a quick signature text file and select it. You're all set. If you
use multiple accounts, each can have it's own sig.

Tools / Account Settings / check the "Attach this signature box" and the
signature of your choice.

Very easy to do.

First, create a text/ascii file with your preferred information.
Next, in Thunderbird, click...

Tools
Account Settings

On the right side, down below your name and email check 'Attach this
signature', then navigate to and select the text file you created. It
will appear in every message you send, but can be deleted from the
composition window if there's times you'd rather it not be attached (no
need to disable it in the settings).

Want a different message? Create a new text file and insert it as above.

Want to choose among multiple messages? Use a macro generator, like PC
Magazine's robotype or RoboForm, and create as many signatures as you
want. If you go this route you'll have to remember to manually insert
them at the bottom of your messages but, with a couple of keystrokes,
you could put in anything you wanted rather than repetitively typing it in.

OK, I should have tried it first. The "attach this signature" entry is
actually the location of a file called "signature.txt". signature.txt
is a plain text file with the signature of your choice. (helps to
actually read the documentation and try it first.......... Smile )

Hello,

I find the best tool for this is the following Add-on

https://addons.mozilla.org/thunderbird/578/

After install, you create as many signature you want.
While editing your post, you access to all the signature via a simple
right-click.
