Is my computer not sending e-mail? Are the dates bad?
After 3 days, I have gotten no response from SERV....
My friend Jerry Cornwall from FL is in.
Is anyone from SERV remotely interested in a trip to Yellowstone?

OK everyone Cappy has done some planning for the "trip of a lifetime" to
Yellowstone National Park.

Here is the plan at 160 knots:

Two days to Yellowstone Regional (KCOD). Total flying time 9:07.
Leaving June 8th or 9th depending on weather.

Day One:
Leg one; fuel stop Decatur, Illinois (KDEC) 2:57.
Leg two; Overnight and fuel stop Sioux City, Iowa (KSUX) 2:19. Total
for
the day 5:17

Day Two:
Leg one; First point of interest Mount Rushmore (fly around and take
pictures) 2:03.
Leg two; Second point of interest Devils Tower (fly around and take
pictures) :25.
Leg three; Fuel stop Gillette, Wyoming (KGCC) :14. Total to fuel stop
2:41.
Leg four; From Gillette, fly north east of the Bighorn Mountains past
Sheridan to Ft Smith, Montana (5U7) :44.
Leg five; Fly over Bighorn Lake to the Bighorn River and into
Yellowstone Regional (KCOD) :24. Total for the day 3:49

The plan would be to spend at least 3 nights in Yellowstone and then
everyone fly's back on there own.

This can be an unbelievable trip!
Before I do any more planning, who is in?

Try to make it with your wife, but if he/she can't go maybe my wife Randy
or
someone else can go with you.

Cappy,
I did not see the first email. It looks like a great trip. I may be
interested if I can get the stars to align on my calendar.

OK I guess I might not have sent the first post to SERV. Anyway this was a much better response.

So far we have Ben Burril, Larry Bowen, Reno Red, Ken Harrill, Paul Franzon, interested. Come in Stripes.

Cappy and Lynne are in as well as Jerry Cornwell and his wife.

I will start checking hotels, cars, etc. and keep everyone posted.

If you have questions, concerns or suggestions, please let the old man know.

Also let me know when the schedules are worked out. Plan on 7 days.

Steve,

We would like to go if the stars align. Count us as "tentative".

We would like to go too but it would take more than just the stars to align for us to make it. It would take Capy to get is butt over here and finish the plane while I'm at work. Then there is that hole assembly, signoff, and phase I thing that I have to take care of.

Bill

You a funny man!

It would be safer for me to sender her with one of you guys and stay home to finish the plane because she would kill me if I took a trip like that and left her behind.

No Ben, she can't go with you!
