Hi all!

I'm looking to do some Aerobatic flying with my bird and I was hoping for some advice on parachutes.

First off, parachutes are not legally required in Canada. That being said, if a simple and affordable tool for increasing personal safety is available then I'm all for it.

I've looked at Softie's and Nationals. My only preference is towards the seatpack style as I've flown with a slim backpack style (skydiver flying years ago) and never really liked how they rode up.

Thanks in advance!

Mike

Strong Parachute Company manufactures a model 306 Squadron Seat pack which
fits perfectly in the Yak and CJ seat pans. It is designed specifically for
warbirds. As a Strong parachute dealer, I can offer you substantial
discounts from list price on all Strong Parachute Company rigs. Contact me
off-list if interested.

This is not an inexpensive answer to your question, but maybe the most comfortable one. Take a look at Butler Parachutes. They make a chute designed for either the Yak or Cj seat pan. I can tell you from first hand knowledge the most comfortable chute I have ever sat on.
