I've received a lot of responses about the need to have a gap seal. I guess stall speeds increase & performance in general is severely degraded. Mine is pretty shot. Has anyone built one that is permanent? Does not need to be removed everytime you fold the wings. Barring that does Kolb sell one or is it usual for one to fabricate your own?

John, there's a little showing on page 3 & 4 of the Engine and Redrive section of Building Vamoose on my website: www.gogittum.com . I just reviewed it, and was amazed that that was 3 years ago already. Lots of water under the bridge, and the redrive lives at the Palm Springs City Landfill now.
