List Members.
There has been some talk of an easy way to change the Dwyer pressure gage face to better suit the LRI that some of us a installing.
This is what I came up with. Below is a picture of the finished gage and the vinyl overlay I used to put over the top of the factory face.
It took a little practice to get it positioned right but it came out good.
I had to have a sheet of 16 printed out and have some extras, if anyone is interested. The first sheet was a little expensive, but now that the art work is done additional sheets won't be as much. They cost me about $4.00 ea.
Let me know off list.

I put the white dots in the artwork to help with alignment. Hold the assembly in front of a light and you'll be able to line things up easily. The dots are slightly undersized compared to the holes in the plate so that no white will be visible in the finished product if the alignment isn't perfect.
I printed my gauge face on a self-adhesive label. After cutting it out, I stuck it on a small piece of wax paper, leaving a narrow strip protruding on one side. I lined it up (on the back side) of the metal plate, stuck the exposed edge down, and then removed the wax paper to stick the rest down. I also did a test using the same method with regular paper and a glue stick. It worked well too.

George.
You can use PayPal, my account is under Mark Sherman msherman(at)softcom.net or send a check or whatever to 12875 Midway Rd. Galt, CA 95632.
For those of you who want two or more, the same $1.00 shipping for all of them will work. That would be $5.00 for one, $9.00 for two and so on.
I will include some instructions on applying the vinyl that worked good for me.
I have been using this same type of vinyl for instructions on the doors of commercial dryers. These are heat cycled about a dozen times a day from cold to 160 degrees, and have been installed for more than a year with no sign of deterioration. The data sheet on this material says it is good to 200 degrees and has UV protection. It is designed for use as outdoor signs.
