I just received my new oil injection tank to replace the cracked one. I had a hard time since John didn't have one in stock. Finally got an original replacement from US Plastics (Nalgene). Was exactly the same that came with the Kit in 95.
I compared the old with the new and both seemed to have the same flexibility. However, I was able to completely crush the old tank in my hands. I have this feeling that the heat from the engine over time caused this problem.
Go check your tanks and if you see small cracks around the top corners, you might want to get rid of it. BTW, the new tank does not have the outlet fitting. Will have to use a metal bulkhead type.
