I am having a problem with the cooling hose from the front left hand cylinder: it is getting in the way of attaching the E1-1X steel bracket to the Engine (Rotax 912ULS)

Anyone else experience the same problem and if so what is the solution.

The photo guide says as follows “Detail of left side. If necessary, remove the engine and file a radius on the aft edge of the steel bracket E1-1X to make room for the hose”

Trouble is it will take quite a chunk out of the bracket get the hose to fit and even then will constrict the flow, I think.

Any ideas?
