CH701 Rudder Tip Beacon/Strobe

I am nearly finished my rudder and am struggling with the choice of beacon or strobe to mount on the rudder tip.  Zenith has told me how to reinforce the tip rib if I do so but I cannot seem to find a "real" aircraft beacon that will fit in the small space on the front of the rudder tip rib.



Anyone have any ideas of choices for a rudder beacon for the 701?  Red strobe would be good or flashing red LED.  I've looked at Aeroflash and Whelen and I'm just looking for other possible options.

Try this link to Kuntzleman Electronics. Th eowmer is a good guy who can probably help find what you want if the red beacon on the page is not satisfactory.

I built a prototype circuit to drive a LED rotating beacon. It works, but now I would have to select the proper LEDs to get to the final version. Since I am not flying anytime soon, I am leaving that for later... See attached pics.



The leds would replace the red lens withing the clear fairing.
