Dave,

Great idea... I can't believe I never thought about doing it that way. The concept would also work for any other lines needed including control cables, brakes lines, etc..

If you happen to be ordering something else from surpluscenter.com, like say a flap actuator, you can add on 100' of 5/32 clear tubing for $3.49. It's their item number 20-1022.
