I am making placards and just a fast Q;
Europa XS fuel tank total capacity
is 70 litres including reserve. How
many litres is a reserve side, about?
Just wonder how many minutes it takes
to get an answer! Thank you!

Hi! Raimo
Just so you have a quick answer I'd say approx 2 gallons which is just
over 9 litres but with the a/c in cruise level it may be slightly more.

You need to measure yours.

Mine is 9 litres on the reserve side if the aircraft is
not being thrown around in turbulence. Less if it is bumpy !

Hi Raimo,

About 10 liter if I remember correct.
But it may be much less, especially if you got a 912/912S with less return
fuel then 914 Turbulence may move fuel from reserve to main.

Remember that is one tank including "reserve".

Please land before your "main" is empty

Measured ours at 2.6 US Gallons, with fuselage leveled...

Thanks for every one for nice, kind and fast answers.
So, if you manage to land using main tank only, you
have maybe in theory 45 minutes reserve time left
(Rotax minimum consumption about 12 litres/hour),
which is a demand of VFR rules...

There is a variation between individual tanks. Mine has 9 litres.
