I have removed the warp drive prop from my 601 and found some
evidence of fretting. It is on a Dave Johnson PRSU and calls for 8 X
1.25 mm bolts. These bolts are quit loose in the prop hub (lots of side
play). Also I am not sure of the class of the bolt. The metric
equivalent of SAE grade 8 is 10.9 but the bolt heads don't indicate
this. I feel rather uneasy about the situation does anybody have some
helpful suggestions?

Hi Alex,
I'd be inclined to forward your discussion of this to the Warp Drive
people. They would likely
want to support you and offer advice and or replacement product from
their experiences.
Their support is excellent and rather unconditional.
You fly their prop, they will want to support you.

Good luck
