When the starter switch of my H35 failed years ago, a mechanic replaced it with one of a similar form factor but was clearly not an identical replacement. I don't know where he got it, but it wasn't from Beech. It may have been from the aviation section of Radio Shack or Newark. So far so good. -- Mike Truffer

I have a 1947 Bonanza SS# D-495 with what appears to be the same push button
switch for the starter. I have both an old and a new parts book.
I will look tonight and see what numbers I come up with.
The Bonanza's used a lot of automotive parts through the late "50s and
it may be the same as a starter button for a 6 volt car as they were heavier
duty than the ones needed for 12 volt.
Go to www.vintagebonanza.com and there is pages for maintenance and refurbishment
with sources and suppliers for these types of items.

Grummans use a switch like that.
You might check with Garner at Fletchair the main Grumman parts
supplier.

I was told that the landing gear gearbox was a Chrysler convertible top unit! Never verified it.
