Greetings,
A short notice it is, however, John Oakley and I are planning to meet at the Ogden Airport terminal tomorrow, July 3rd, at 1100 hrs for lunch. I'm up here from Mesa, AZ and would like to meet any and all who can make it. I understand the Ogden Terminal has a good place to eat. John indicated there are about 5 guys in the area building, flying, dreaming... and has never met all of you.
Just an open invitation to make that excuse to fly and come swap lies and eat a burger.

Hi John,
You have got to get that work thing under control, it is much like drugs, once you feel good and comfortable you just can’t stop.

Sorry you could not make it.

john

The impromptu Utah Fly-in was a good time (Even though everyone walked in) :>) John Oakley and Steve Wilson and I joined up in formation at the Auger Inn for a good lunch and a couple rounds of hanger flying in front of their planes. It never ceases to amaze me how perfect strangers can meet and talk as if we were long time war buddies.

Dan,
I had a great time also, it would have been better if we could have gotten Steve to make motor sounds while we sat in the plane.
It was also a good surprise to see that Steve has the original DD85 that Dan Denny built himself and put in all the photos and brochures that hooked many of us over the years, it even has Denny’s name on the door.
