Recommend AC42.13-!B/2A (or latest) "Acceptable Methods, Techniques, and Practices AIRCRAFT INSPECTION, REPAIR & ALTERATIONS".
As stated before by many on this list, this AC is considered a "must/should have" for a reference document.and has a bunch of recommended "How To s", including wiring tie lacing

Tefzel wires to stay put as required. The lacing tape works MUCH BETTER.
