When I ordered my engine, I told Pete which model plane it was for,
and I was sent a Sensenich W62HJ46....so it's a Wooden 62" dia x 46"
pitch...the H and the J are H=load factor (or something like that)
and the J is for the Jabiru bolt pattern.

Hi all, I'm about to buy a 2200 Jabiru for my Avid Mk IV and am
just wondering what people with that engine on their Kitfox are
useing for a prop. The planes are so much alike, what works on
one should probably work on the other. Thanks, Jim Chuk Avid MK

And like Michel's experience, my prop is not a great climb performer,
but does the cross-country thing well, and handled recent high
density altitudes out west just fine.

Hello Jim, I have a Jabiru 60" by 38" prop on my Jabiru 2200. Why?
Because I don't know anything about prop and engines and when I
asked my Jabiru dealer he recommended me that one. Of course, it is
a wood prop and I have to be careful when it rains. I don't fly
much when it rains, anyway, but if caught in a drizzle, keep the
RPM under 2 500 and it should be fine. After 230 hours, the prop is
still in a near pristine condition. For my Kitfox 3, the prop pitch
is maybe a tad too coarse; no great climb performance but an
economical cruise RPM. Not a problem for me since I fly from a long
asphalt runway.
Cheers,
