A few years ago I bought an Un-registered Twinstar. To make it legal I got it inspected and N numbered as an Exp. Amatuer Built with the actual builder listed on the documents. Now with the Exp LSA option available, I wondering if there is any way to change the registration to Exp LSA so that I would be able to perform the annuals?

Dave, The grandfathering rules in FAR 21.191 specifically states that the aircraft must not have been previously certificated.
