I'm back!  Touched down at Gold Hill Airpark  at 8:09 PM.  Can't say my 110th landing for the day was my best, but it  sure felt good!  I have had the hamburger and Miller beer, so now's time  for a shower and bed.  I'll provide a comprehensive report sometime  later.  For now, thanks for all the support along the way and the words of  encouragement as well.

Miriam and I followed your exploits with gusto, cheering loudly each time Kathy sent a new update.  I was busy much of the day flying and hiking around (pass the Motrin, please) with my new GPS online tracker toy to see if it would work, but your way to fight boredom on the 4th certainly takes top honors.  I'm impressed by your speed, stamina, night flying skills, and the tremendous logistical planning that went into this accomplishment, and we're very glad you're home safe after 110 landings.  The recognition coming your way in the next few days is certainly well-deserved and hard-earned.  You've put SERV in the record books, and we appreciate you. 



So how come a guy with your skills can't get to the canyons of Utah and Arizona when he's already come as far as Yellowstone, huh?

I was thinking,  

                        Has anyone done this for South Carolina, or Virginia, now that you have this figured out   

                        Maybe you need another challenge.

In retrospect, we probably should have accompanied  you to Arizona and Utah.  Looks like you had a good time.  I was  trying to be responsible and stay within our budget while Kathy was thinking "I  have time, he has money, let's go". I'm trying to impress upon her that  just because she has checks and a credit card doesn't mean she has money!   Anyway, we would like to take a trip with you guys sometime.  You and  Miriam are great company and it could be a wonderful time.   Let's think about it!
