speculation that I am running too rich, yes my plugs were black and 

my EGTs were around 950. He says that I should see 85MPH out of a 

Model 2 with a 582 and suggested putting more pitch in the prop. I 

thought I had  set it to be a cruise prop and am skeptical. Yes I 

like low and slow. I fly plenty fast plenty often. Greetings from 

Trinidad BTW.  I had the door open and loved it. I guess I would 

like to see an improvement over driving for enroute times.
