Gentlemen:

  

 Thank you all for your productive comments.  Gulf Coast Avionics had  my plane blocked in the rear of their hangar and would not move the other planes  until I paid their statement in full.

 Small Claims court would require me to make several trips to Lakeland (100  miles) and be there when the case was heard.

 Having been in practice for 32 years I had a drawer full of un collectable  claims when I retired.

 The FAA suggestion is one that I shall follow up immediately.

 Frankly, I simply was too stupid not to trust a company that had full page  ads in TAP.  It is my desire that no other RPA members be taken by this  firm.  My hand held transceiver has kept me flying.
