Finally getting around to reworking the installation of my pda in my airplane (mostly rerouting wires). I went to download the latest PocketFMS and discovered that it's no longer free. Not only is it not free, you can't buy it. It's only available by subscription at 150 euros/year. The current exchange rate makes it better than $200/year. I balked at $500 for mountainscope ages ago though I've always envied the look of their program. I'd rather pay $500 once than $200/year for a subscription though. The other option is Anywhere map. The demo screens always looked a bit ugly to me but at $95, it's tough to beat.

Anyone else out there looking to replace PocketFMS now that it's not free?
