Took a trip up North (Ontario Canada) with a couple of other anphib drivers on Father's day. Had an absolute blast. The weather was incredible..with a tailwind going up and another coming back.
One of my main gears did not lock when I arrived back at home base. Non-issue really, as the plane tracked fine on landing and there was no damage. If you have the Aerocet 1100 anphibs you will want to scroll to the bottom of the page and check out the pictures and video that expose the problem. Check your gear and you may avoid having to replace the wear strip on the float.
If you do not have floats but you have thought about adding floats to your plane you may want to check out the pictures and video clips for fun. Two of the three planes have the Aerocet 1100 anphibs..the third full lotus anphibs.

Gary,
I just spent a good part of the morning going over your site checking out adventures and vids! Great reading and vids... this is what it is all about! Nothing like gettings a few planes together and going out to remote places for some peace and quiet and lots of BS and brews.

Gary...those are awesome pix/videos.....It just so happens....I'm trying to put together a classic IV and amphibs. Actually bought the aerocet amphibs....now looking for a plane to buy. I know it's backwards....just happened that way....
Have you ever flown the speedster on amphibs.....I've come across three in the last few days....
