I'm trying to figure out what rivets to use to attach the counter wieghts to the flaperon spar. There is a miss print in the manual on the model 4/classic 4 speedster. It is the same miss print as on the rivets for the fuselage butt ribs. It says to use p/n 95006- 1/8x3/8 AS. Looking at the inventory list shows 95006 as a plastic dent rivet and only 4 in the kit.The only 1/8x3/8 rivets are in the fuselage kit and are stainless and I assume the are for the butt ribs(total of 16).Oh, there are 4 of them in the cover and finish kit (not enough). All the other rivets in the flaperons are aluminum so I assume that is what to use,but no such rivets in the inventory. My later model uses part number 90045 MONEL 3/32 x 1/8 pop rivets. Make sure the counter weight conforms smoothly with the flaperon or the rivets won't grab the aluminum. Yes, I had to drill them out before the epoxied set up and redo rivets.

You are right on what you say. Those rivets are for the leading and trailing egde rivets on the flaperons. I was questioning the rivets in the middle that go thru the flaperon spar. I think I may have answered may own question whenI dug up the equation for determining rivet size. Guess I'll use 1/8x3/8 SS for the middle rivets, and I plan then to use 1/8x5/16 to attach the butt ribs to the fuselage. Leon Morris/Classic4/50%/Flower Mound, TX
