I just finished my last day (of 3) at Oshkosh and was disappointed not to see any Zodiac XL's in attendance other than the two at the factory display.  Maybe I didn't look in the right places but there was a whole air force of RV's but no XL's. If we are proud of our machines I think we should show them off!  Since mine isn't finished I was unable to do my part but hopefully that time will come.



Other than that, Oshkosh was..... well, Oshkosh.   Great planes, lots of people, some rain, some sun.  In short, a great experience and one I look forward to every year.

I was there on Tuesday & Wednesday and I counted 12

601's.  Only 4 or 5 were XL's, with the rest being

HD's and HDS's.  Some were in the Homebuilt Camping

area, some were on the main flight line and two at the

Zenith booth.  Al's red & white HDS on the flight line

had the best workmanship I've ever seen and had a

retrofit forward tilting canopy.  Dick's blue & white

HD was also a beautiful ship with a very nice panel

and a Corvair engine.  

This was my first trip to Oshkosh.  What a BLAST!!

Sorry to hear that.  I saw more 601's and 701,s at Arlington than at Sun 'n Fun this year too.

    Two or three of us were there all week in front of the Homebuilders

Welcome building and flew out on Saturday Morning the 28th.

Plus a couple more at the Zenith Booth.
