Well, I finally got to meet some of the other builders. I know that a small group went to Custom Fiberglass to see how the Lightning was made and were very impressed. I'll let one of them comment on that trip. I bought most of what I need in my panel and was placed on the MGL Odyssey list for delivery in three months.
If it looks like the Odyssey is going to be late coming, I may borrow a EIS from someone just to get my aircraft airworthy, (if that is allowed), and then install it when it arrives.
I saw the new fuel tank, (larger), and new landing lights to be installed in the wing. The best thing for me was to have access to the Lightning guys for questions. I also was able to nose around the Lightning demo and take a lot of pictures. It is much more meaningful to me now that I have started on my aircraft.
All in all a great time.
Jim!

Everybocy should be getting back from Oshkosh by now. Give us the details, impressions, new ideas, what's cool, and what's not.
Some of us couldn't go this year, and are anxious to hear.
