Does anyone have  any information on the EFIS Trutrak is developing?  Capabilities? Price? When its coming out?

Although I really like most of TruTrak’s products, I was not very impressed by the EFIS demo that I saw.  My understanding is that it is mainly an ADI in the center of the screen (LCD screen), an airspeed indicator (the right half of a round gauge) on the left side of the screen and and altimeter on the right side of the screen.  No engine monitor capabilities.  It may have some more information, but it was basically supposed to be the next step up from the ADI from my understanding.  They may have added features from the Oshkosh demo, but I don’t know about them.  The Advanced Systems and Dynon EFISes seem to be much more capable and at least the Dynon is cheaper than the projected price by TruTrak.  Now, it they were to add auto pilot functions to the EFIS or to add some kind of GPS moving map function, then it may be a completely different issue.  I have no clue when it is coming out.  

   

Andrew, are you out there?  I would love to hear from you on more details about it if there are more available.

They're apparently still working on it. I saw it at Oshkosh this year.







No details on their site yet though.
