My fuel sensor leaks where it screws into the header tank. It's the float type. To orient it properly (so that it will rise with fluid and not be upside down or sideways), I can't screw it in tight. I used Rector 5 for the thread sealant but it didn’t do the job. Any suggestions???

I use form-a-gasket for aviation, spruce has it and many auto stores
