Gentlemen:

Enough about this subject already. Beware, any member who may have expressed anything, be prepared to hear from all sides.
My situation has nothing to do with the rely from Mr. Miller at GCA.  My plea was simply to get GCA to meet their contractual obligations to install avionics that actually work. I had attempted for almost a year to get them to simply reply to the FACT that there are some problems with their avionics installation that needs attention. No response to multiple e-mails, letters, and telephone calls.
Have spoken to several AOPA attorneys and they all said that this is a simple BREACH OF CONTRACT.
Cliff was totally correct to question my statements. I have sent him several thank you notes, and a complete file on this situation. GCA has to this date refused to contact me to schedule a repair date on their installation. THAT IS ALL THAT I HAVE EVER ASKED FROM GCA!
Mr. Miller did respond to you about the two subjects that absolutely nothing to do with the avionics problems. If he has time for this, why can't he call me to set up an appointment. He also was sent the complete file.
His only response was that the Aerostar factory did not install a hose from the hydrolytic reservoir to the Cleveland brakes that were not strong enough to resist the left foot of his technician from pulling it off of the fitting.  And that from April to July was not four months. This has nothing to do with nothing. It was their attitude that it was my responsibility to pay for the repair.
About a week after I picked up the plane in Lakeland, I flew her to Alabama for one on Dennis' outstanding annuals. On the trip, ATC said "garbled and unreadable, and not receiving your transponder". Hey wait a minute, these are all new units. One of Dennis' friends was kind enough to look at the avionics, and he said that as soon as you return, contact GCA about the installation.
I did this, as the many letters, calls, and e-mails will show. THEY REFUSED TO LIVE UP TO THE WARRANTY THAT IS STATED IN OUR CONTRACT, AND HAVE NEVER RESPONDED TO ANY REQUESTS.
Yes, I must be just another stupid SOB that would expect that paying $17,522.52 would expect them to stand by their work.
To stop all of this crap, I am taking her to another avionics shop and will pay for any corrections necessary for safety and function.

Enough already? In your first post on GCA the very first thing you addressed was the fact that the brakes did not work, THE VERY FIRST THING, not that you were trying to get GCA to meet their contractual obligations. I know Rick Garcia, the owner of GCA and a more honest, fair person you will not find in the aviation industry. Have you approached him? You are saying these bad things, and you do have the right to freedom of expression, but have you done all you can to rectify the problem? Only you know the answer to that one.
