I wanted to thank everyone for offering help, tools and place to get  

me on my way home from Sacramento Ca.  It is really nice to know that  

as a group, we are never alone while traveling.



My VM1000C went blank on departure on Sunday.  I was told by Vision  

Micro in Texas (now also JPI) that they are being recalled and I  

could receive in one month.  They also told me that they did not have  

a loaner to get me going.  This prompted me to email for help as I  

thought that I might have to jerry-rig a couple of gauges to get me  

going.



In the mean time, I called JPI located in Orange County CA for help.   

They were very helpful and located a loaner, except that they sent me  

the new model which did not fit my plugs.



In short, I received the right loaner on Thursday at 7:00 AM (thank  

you FedEx) and was in the air by 10:00 AM.
