Does anybody know if the Electronics International Volt/Ammeter can fit in the hole for the stock CJ ammeter?  The ammeter in a friends plane smoked and quit the other day (nut came loose inside and shorted the meter).  He has one of the above referenced meters that is an externally shunted version. 

  

 Also, if it can replace the stock unit, does anybody know where the shunt for the stock guage is located?
