Well, I'd go for e) Shut down.
My 582 starts so reliably that I regularly shut it down while holding. My understanding of 91X's is that they too start absolutely reliably when warm. You'd never do this with a Lycoming or Continental because they do not hot start nearly as reliably.

If I stop the 912s in my Europa while holding, I can't hold the assigned
altitude. Of course, I don't have the glider wings yet
