For a Model IV Speedster, I go slow because each time
is an invitation to damage something. It takes about
20-30 minutes, and sometimes longer, to get it secured
on the trailer, ready to tow, plus tow time about 3
miles to the barn. Loading is quick, folding is
quick, but properly securing everything takes a while.
Not for flying every day. For that, I leave it out.
When time comes to put it away, I make sure the gas is
burned down. Folding is handy to take it somewhere to
work on it or to stuff into a small extra space in a
hanger. Unfolding and unloading takes about the same
time as folding and loading.
